kap

KAP is the Kinetic Application Processor. It allows you to use Tcl as an embedded server-side programming language for web pages. It supports Apache and the Netscape Application Server.

KAP was written for and used in the China Internet environment. Therefore, I18N support is excellent. It was written when I was at my old company, AsiaInfo. When I left it was being used to manage user accounts for approximately 38 million people. The last number that I heard was about two years ago, where it had increased to 68 million people. It’s also used internally at Lucent and Pixar.

It is highly stable… I haven’t made a change to it in about 2 years.

It’s hosted on Sourceforge, project name “kap”. Share and Enjoy!
